To get FPUC you must file a regular unemployment claim in the state where you worked-usually online-and provide your SSN, contact information, and prior-employment details; check your state’s UI rules. All states had agreements with the DOL by March 28, 2020, and eligible claimants will receive retroactive payments once their state activates FPUC; benefits end July 31, 2020 unless extended.
